A very short one this afternoon, as in about an hour we are going to the pub to watch the parade!
I wanted to share the link to hubby’s internet radio show and his St Patrick’s Day Special. All Irish musicians picked and played for you by an Irishman in Ireland!
If you are looking for some good music to get you in the celebratory mood, please have a listen!

Bet you didn’t know there was so much celebration of Irish here or in Mexico, but they settled everywhere – and didn’t forget home.
Nothing like a good tune!
We love our tiny parade! I’m only surprised to hear the day is big in Mexico. I wonder why?
links in my post today – The Fighting Irish of Mexico long forgotten by those not there. Cheers and party on!
Thanks! Oh I updated the post with title and artist played 🙂
Ahh. Thanks! Tunes are the best
When a wee lad I was advised I come from a Scotch-Irish heritage so I do have a green shirt on. I am passing on the green beer, donuts and bagels. I have no issue drinking or eating anything that is normally green however. Always room for good Irish music! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
My brother had his DNA done —- guess what! 60% Irish! YAY!
Well hello, cousin! ☘️
Enjoy!

Did you see us?!? It was wettest parade yet. Still was impressed by the turnout. As a friend said, “we’re all mad” 🙂
Were you part of the Bee float?
No we were with our local school, all about going green not just for paddy’s day – recycling, water, green transport and biodiversity. Despite weather. kids seemed to enjoy it. But I was impressed by the drain pipe bee hive! very clever!
Oh yes! Himself will have some photos up on FB later, I will see if he has any of yours!
🙂
We have to go back out shortly, he is DJ’ing in Paddy’s Bar tonight. Going to be a long day for us!
Enjoy!
