That’s the face. The face I get before he starts talking…
Mraaahhhh
Yes.
Mraaahhhh
Uh-huh.
Mraaahhhh
Okay.
Mraaahhhh
Yep.
Mraaahhhh
I know.
Mraaahhhh.
I know.
Mraaahhhh
I KNOW.
Mraaahhhh
I heard you!
Mraaahhhh
Enough!
Mraaahhhh
Stop.
Mraaahhhh
Stoooppppp.
Mraaahhhh
Oh god shut up.
Mraaahhhh
What? What do you want?
Mraaahhhh
Anything, anything to make you shut up…
Mraaahhhh
What do you want from meeeeee?!?
Mraaahhhh
Mraaaaahhhhhhhh!
yep…same here..”why?” “really!” “they said what?” on and on..and they aren’t even meesers hahaha 🙂
But he won’t stoooooooop!
No he won’t ..they never do….just tell him talk to the paw…:
The Bengal is telling us he wants something. The Meezer… just talks for the sake of it sometimes! Unless he was telling me to go to bed. That is possible!
May be:) ours just like telling tales..bhahaaah 🙂
Oooh, mom! So and so did THIS today! HAHAHAHAH! I was good though, really! What, that toy all chewed up? Not meeee.
Lol nubia does that even though she is not a siamese. Always makes me wonder if she truly beleives she can speak “human” 🙂
Yay! I hope she has more than one ‘word’. Lokii seems to only have mraaahhh.
She has lots of funny noises that seem to be coming more from her belly than her mouth :o. This is why her nickname is Disturber of Peace!!! So noisy lol
I just adore that first picture….so damn cute. And the point isn’t that you understand Loki, it’s that he’s annoying the ever luvin daylights out of you. You amuse him apparently. 😉
Oh yessss. I am endlessly amusing!
My great grandmother had an old cat that stood at her back door and said “Mawmaw, let me in.” I know it’s true because I heard it over and over on every visit/!
Mawmaw! I love it 🙂
My cat talks the same way to me.
Not a Siamese?
No, he’s just ancient. We guess around 19 or 20
Wow! Okay then, he’s allowed 🙂
When Evie Cat gets to going like that I always ask her if that little bastard Timmy has fallen down the well again. We had to that to her mom, too. Vocal little brats. 🙂
That’s a good one! The Bengal will actually take me to what he wants, while telling me all about it. But Lokii just yammers at me.
That’s Evie – she just walks around and talks.
Ha! What we put up with…
What a beautiful kitty! Question: do they all bite? Ours just started last month…
Both of my boys do love bites, but it’s not something most cats do. It’s something I’ve encouraged, in an unknown way, with how I pet them. Never had cats bite before! I blow on their faces, which stops it, but doesn’t seem to prevent future chomping. It doesn’t hurt, but is annoying. Is yours biting like that, or harder?
Ok. We have the same deal. Isabel didn’t bite until husband moved back. It’s nips but totally new!
Hmmm, had a new experience with Lokii tonight that gave me an idea about why he bites. I think he believes I am also a cat, and he is asking me to play. In that hard, owie kind of way cats play. Do you have another cat?
Nope just isabel. I think you’re right and she wants to play. She’s been home alone more lately too.
So, this might be, in an odd way, a good thing. She thinks you humans are cats and can play cat-games! I’d suggest chasing her around the house, catching her and ‘petting rough’. That’s what my boys do to each other, except there is biting. I’m going to try it myself!
Noisy bugger then? 😉
Yes indeed!
It’s simple … look in your translator under Siamese to see what ‘mraaahhh’ means!! 🙂
Damn you Google, you have failed me again! Maybe Siri can help?
My Bengal Nickel Catmium squeaks like a rusty hinge. Over and over. It doesn’t get under your skin quite as much, but it’s bizarre.
Odd! Spot has a massive range of sounds. We can tell if he is talking to the dog, actually. He talks to Lokii, too – and cats aren’t meant to do that!
Mmoww! Mmoww! (pronounced like “ow”, not “mow” like lawnmower).
That is my tuxedo cat’s language. 😀
I like the meows that start off with a rumbley purr trill! Spot does it sometimes.
Juliette has kept that trait from her siamese genes. She talks, a lot. When she talks to me directly, I know she wants food. But otherwise, she talks when playing with “toys” (more accurately, small objects that fell to the floor, or that she shamelessly steal from my work desk). She talks (or more accurately yell) when she decides at 9pm that it’s time to run the entire length of the apartment several times while bringing to the floor any unstable object that have been left unattended on a surface.
9pm better than 3am!
Did I ever tell you my Italian friend here also has a cat named Juliette? She has a Romeo, too. Brother and sister… Ewww… Lol
