This is my coffee cup.
I fill it at home and take it to work every day, where it gets cold but sipped on nonetheless. I never finish what’s in my ‘go-cup’. But I drink over half of it when I’m driving to work and it’s still warm.
The thing is… my cup is smarter than I am. See that little round hole? That’s there to let air in so the liquid inside can flow out of the big hole. Such a simple thing. Which defeats me several times a day.
Because the tip of my nose exactly touches right where that little hole is, and seals it up.
I can’t seem to remember to turn the cup a little, oh no. I’d rather think ‘what the..?’ several times in the space of a 15 minute drive.
Clearly the cup is the cleverest one around here.
Well in all fairness, when you are driving to work in the morning you are probably still sleepy. 😉
Wish I had that excuse…no. I’ve been up an hour and a half by then because before then, I’m not capable of screwing the lid on 🙂
I’m still sleepy in the morning after an hour and a half!
But yes, I know this issue.
I always try to drink it, with my head back a lot, just like the cup, so my nose won’t touch it…
That would be dangerous while driving! 🙂
I’m glad it’s not just me struggling with cups like this! Always bumping it with my nose, too. Usually I just give up …and the coffee gets cold
I’m surprised to hear I’m not the only one… Maybe the cup isn’t so clever after all?
Noses eh? We’re never happy with them!
I like mine! It’s the brain which I usually also like which is letting me down 🙂
Drinking and driving is a mugs game.
BOOYAH! I can’t even get close to that level of wit!
