I thought you would be the first to know what it is! They were used in a Korean horror movie, actually. I knew they what they were immediately and it made me laugh.
They look like creepy skulls of evil pixies, or of some weird insects. I did get as far as deciding they were probably plant material and therefore seed pods, but I never would have arrived at the snapdragon without being told.
The unexpected thing a creeper here has done is at present filling me with delight, and the larder with guavadilla juice! I have never known such a crop.
Way out of my frame of reference! What do they compare to, flavour-wise?
Fairly unique and distinctive. A little bit like Fanta Orange with overtones of apple. Truly delicious, particularly with something like condensed milk added.
Ooo that sounds nice.

It looks awfully like something that can be smoked… 😉
You bad thing! I’d not recommend it 🙂
That is creepy, it looks like it should be the cover of a horror book.

Actually I think I do know, not to give too much away should I mention dragons?
Hahah, snap!
😉 😉
I got it before the hints. I think I shall refrain from mentioning it so others can play. Thanks. Hugs
Ok. I know what this is. Yes. It does look creepy doesn’t it?
Pretty in the summertime though!
WP needs a private message method for this kind of thing!
It’s a twig of some sort? 🙂
Ah yes – but of what sort?
Errrrr?? 🤔
Snapdragon seed pods?
First one to say it. And yes, you aren’t the first to guess!
Yay!!!
It’s a twig. What form of twig, I have no notion. It could also be the burnt fingers of a dead witch. Just saying.
Hahah. If I used the good camera, I could make them look life sized…

I know! It’s crazy that something so pretty can look so creepy 🙂
Yet another reason I love plants: they do unexpected things.

Ooo, what is guavadilla?
A variety of granadilla or passion fruit that goes light green instead of purple, and is far larger.
